Located in picturesque Ottawa, Canada, the coldest capital city in the world, the studio has been in operation for several years.

With over 15 years experience, Marilyn Harris-Mills has been a decorative painter with a passion to share her knowledge and skill with anyone who will listen. In the last several years, Marilyn has focused her energy into teaching and encouraging her students to learn decorative painting. Recently as an artist, Marilyn has entered into designing with coloured pencils, watercolour pencils, pen/ink, oils with a creativity leaning towards mixed media combining several of these mediums. Marilyn’s enthusiasm for her art has led her to study with Mary Owens, Claudia Nice, Moe Shier, Kaaren Johnston, Allison Fagan, Rosemary Randall, Gordon MacKenzie, Willow Wolfe, Tracey Moreau and many others.
